Join our agile team as a Snow Removal Specialist and be a vital part of maintaining safe and accessible outdoor spaces during winter months.

This role involves driving a route following behind a snow tractor, and shoveling areas the tractor can not reach. Front entrances to homes, around parked cars in driveways, and areas the snow blowing tractor cant reach.

Must have own vehicle that is reliable and able to drive from house to house on snow covered roads without issues.

Must be on call, all days / hours from November - April. We go out for all snow storms of 2 inches or more accumulation. Our customers count on us to show up and get their homes accessible. Showing up for all snow events is the up most importance and pay reflects this responsibility.

Duties

- Drive your vehicle on snow covered roads, on a pre determined route from house to house following behind a snow tractor
- Shovel areas the tractor cant reach
- Front entrances to homes, front porch / walk way to porch
- Around parked cars in driveways




- Any other areas of driveways the tractor cant reach
- Ensure all cleared areas are safe for pedestrians and vehicles by inspecting for remaining hazards
- Ability to work throughout the night until route is completed.
- Snow is unpredictable, when ever a snow storm ends and 2 inches or more has fallen, we start on our routes.

Skills

- Familiarity with hand tools used in snow removal and general maintenance tasks
- Construction experience or background in outdoor maintenance projects is advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to machinery operation and winter weather conditions (driving on snow covered roads)
- Ability to work outdoors in cold weather conditions for extended periods while maintaining high energy levels

Paid per storm by the route. $586.51 minus deductions, per snow event 2 inches or more snow fall

Use own vehicle / cover your own gas expenses

Some houses have more shoveling required than others, The snow tractors clear as much as possible.

Generally snow storms take 6-10 hours to complete, depending on how efficient you are

Pay: $586.51 per day
