Position Summary The Intermediate Software Developer will translate business requirements and technical system specifications into working, tested applications.

Responsibilities include requirements analysis, application design, Java EE development, and unit testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and technical system specifications.

- Design application solutions aligned with requirements and established design patterns.

- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java EE technologies.

- Implement ORM-based data access using JPA, Hibernate, or similar tools.

- Write and execute unit tests to validate application functionality.

- Deploy, troubleshoot, and support Java EE applications.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

- 7+ years of experience developing n-tier enterprise applications.

- 7+ years of hands-on development experience with Java Enterprise technologies.

- Strong application design skills, including contemporary design patterns, deployment, and troubleshooting.

- Extensive hands-on Java EE development and troubleshooting experience.

- Expertise in JPA or Hibernate and the Spring Framework.

- Database experience; Amazon Aurora, Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and PL/SQL are highly desirable.

- Proficiency with Eclipse IDE or Rational Application Developer.

- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or jQuery.

- Agile development experience, including Scrum, user stories, continuous integration (CI), test-driven development (TDD), and automated testing.

- Experience developing web services and implementing service-oriented architecture (SOA).

- Experience with BPM tools such as jBPM, Activiti, IBM Process Server, Camunda BPM, or Drools Rule Engine.
