ISL is seeking a Structural Engineer-in-Training to join our Saskatoon team. Utilize your skills in commercial, municipal, and residential projects with a hybrid work model.

As a vital member of our Buildings and Structures team, you will have exposure to diverse building projects across Saskatchewan and beyond. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary specialists and offers hands-on experience throughout the project lifecycle.

You will contribute to structural designs, coordinate with various team members, and support in office construction efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed structural designs from concept to construction
Assemble and review structural drawings and calculations




Coordinate with architects and contractors on project needs
Participate in project meetings to align on progress
Complete construction administration through field reviews

Requirements:
Degree in civil or structural engineering discipline
Registration as Engineer-in-Training with APEGS
Two years' experience in building structural design
Knowledge of National Building Code and Canadian standards
Familiarity with structural analysis software and MS Office
