Forklift Operator: Guelph, Ontario Summary The Forklift Operator will be responsible for the overall shipping/receiving requirements. Must ensure the correct operation of the duties and processes inside the department. The position requires for most of work to be performed operating a forklift. The tasks required to be performed will constantly vary within a work period. This position is for the afternoon shift.
Job Duties Load product into trucks by utilizing a forklift truck
Verifies accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments
Prepares and processes reports
Distributes product to stock locations
Organized, detail-oriented
Collects product required for orders
Inspects packaging and product for damage
Processes proper documentation required for all shipping/receiving needs
Aware and practices a safe work-setting at all times




Maintains work areas by keeping it clean and organized
Other duties related to the job
Requirements Excellent eye for detail
Able to perform physical work throughout the day
Able to work in an environment where there could be a high degree of variation, noise and dust
Excellent team worker
Ability to work overtime as required
Excellent attendance is required to fulfill operational needs
