Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and agile Bar Team Leader to oversee daily bar operations and lead our beverage service team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food and beverage preparation, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing restaurant or hotel bar functions, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

The Bar Team

Leader will play a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring efficient and high-quality service.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff, including bartenders and servers, to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee food and beverage preparation, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Lead team management tasks including interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist with food preparation and cooking when necessary to support the kitchen team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with health standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.




- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock control efficiently.
- Support restaurant or hotel management in daily operations and special events.

Requirements

- Proven supervising or team management experience within the food service or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential.
- Background in food service, restaurant management, or hotel experience is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and leadership qualities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as serving, bartending, or kitchen work is advantageous.
- Leadership skills demonstrated through past supervisory or team-leading roles.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
