Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality beverages, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about the food industry, with a focus on coffee and beverage service.

Prior barista experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated applicants. The position involves working in a fast-paced setting where excellent time management and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and credit transactions
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in accordance with health regulations
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly
- Manage serving duties efficiently during busy hours to minimize wait times




- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and presentation
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and cashiering procedures
- Follow all safety protocols related to food safety and food handling regulations

Experience

- Previous experience as a Specialty Coffee Barista is required
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in serving, food preparation, and cash handling is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is desirable
