Schools is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Assistant for a temporary full-time role. You will collaborate with a trans-disciplinary team and assist children facing speech-language challenges in Early Learning through Junior High.

Your responsibilities may include traveling to various Morinville sites, and you should embody the Division's commitment to Truth and Reconciliation. Key Responsibilities:

- Implement speech-language program plans under the Speech-Language Pathologist




- Engage children effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Support articulation, phonological awareness, and language goals
- Collect and report on students' speech and language progress
- Manage challenging behaviors calmly and proactively Requirements:
- Completion of Speech-Language Assistant Program
- Experience with children having speech-language challenges
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
