We are seeking an experienced OpenText xPression Developer with strong hands‑on experience in xPression and Customer Communications Management (CCM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing complex, dynamic customer communication templates and supporting document generation throughout the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, modify, and maintain enterprise customer communication templates using OpenText xPression .

Develop complex documents including policy documents, welcome letters, claims communications, statements, bills, forms, and correspondence .

Work with xDesign/xDDesign, xAdmin, and xDashboard for template development and administration.

Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and reusable document components.

Develop dynamic document elements including conditional content, tables, nested tables, images/logos, headers, barcodes, and other components .

Integrate templates with enterprise data sources and ensure accurate data mapping and document generation.

Support document output for customer viewing, printing, and mailing.

Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support .

Participate in all phases of the SDLC , including requirements analysis, design, development, testing,



and implementation.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA teams, application teams, and business stakeholders .

Required Skills
6+ years of experience with OpenText xPression .

Strong hands‑on experience with xDesign/xDDesign, xAdmin, and xDashboard .

Experience developing complex and dynamic document templates.

Solid understanding of XML, data structures, and document composition .

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Understanding of SDLC and software testing practices .

Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Nice to Have
Experience with OpenText Exstream or xPression-to-Exstream migration projects.

Experience migrating notices, forms, and templates to Exstream .

Accessibility experience with PDF/UA and WCAG .

Experience supporting high‑volume customer communication and document‑generation environments .
