BitGo is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee a small team while remaining actively engaged in engineering tasks. You'll guide infrastructure projects, participate in hiring, and cultivate a team culture centered on open communication and quality. A focus on balancing technical responsibilities with leadership is key, ensuring that the team remains aligned with the roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and coach infrastructure engineers through regular 1:1s
• Participate in on-call rotation and manage production incidents
• Directly contribute to engineering projects and initiatives
• Collaborate on building and executing the infrastructure roadmap
• Ensure delivery quality and manage team performance
Requirements:
• 6+ years in DevOps or infrastructure engineering
• 2+ years of engineering team leadership
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS
• Proficiency in at least one programming language
• Solid project management and communication skills
