Expression of Interest: CARE+ Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Project
IT Business Systems Analyst
Dear MAHC Team,
Expressions of interest are being accepted from employees who wish to work as an IT Business Systems Analyst for the CARE+ Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Project.
Role purpose:
Provide structured analysis of workflows, requirements, decisions and impacts and support cross-site standardization, process design and readiness activities.
Key responsibilities
Document current-state and future-state workflows, business rules, roles, handoffs, exceptions and pain points.
Elicit and clarify requirements and maintain traceability from requirements to configuration, testing, training and acceptance.
Ensure requirements, decisions and supporting documentation are complete, approved and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate gap analysis and support decisions that promote standardized MAHC and OSMH workflows where appropriate and operationally feasible
Create process maps, decision records, requirements documents, test scenarios, job-aid inputs and change-impact content.
Maintain SharePoint / program repository structures and ensure working documents are controlled and accessible.
Support UAT, defect clarification, data validation, cutover and post-go-live workflow stabilization.

Approved process maps and workflow documentation
Documented and approved requirements
Requirements traceability matrices
Test scenarios and validation evidence
Controlled workstream documentation and decision record
Qualifications & Experience
Experience documenting workflows, requirements and process improvements.
Strong analytical and facilitation skills.
Ability to translate business needs into structured requirements.
Experience with process mapping and testing activities.
Healthcare, clinical or operational experience considered an asset.
Location
South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) located in Bracebridge, Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) located in Huntsville and Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital (OSMH) located in Orillia.
