Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and Power BI datasets and reports.
Validate Power BI semantic models, including DAX measures, relationships, calculated columns, and RLS (Row-Level Security).
Perform source-to-target data reconciliation and data quality checks across data warehouses, lakes, and reports.
Write complex SQL queries to verify data transformations, aggregations, and business logic.
Test report functionality: visuals, filters, slicers, drill-throughs, bookmarks, and refresh behavior.
Conduct performance testing of reports and datasets (query load, refresh times, DAX optimization).
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions / Jenkins).
Create test strategies, test plans, and test cases from business and technical requirements.
Log, track, and triage defects; collaborate with developers on root-cause analysis.
Validate deployments across Dev, QA, and Prod workspaces using Power BI deployment pipelines.
Document test results, coverage, and quality metrics for stakeholders.
