As a seasoned leader, you will report to the Manager of Detour Lake Underground Operations. You will apply engineering best practices across various functions including drilling, blasting, and ground control. In addition, you will lead optimization projects while ensuring adherence to budgetary goals and health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Champion safety culture through continuous improvements
• Provide technical direction for mine planning and operations
• Lead development of short and long-term mine plans




• Manage departmental budgets and cost control initiatives
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technical team

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
• 10-15 years of mining experience including 5 years in management
• Solid underground mining and technical services experience
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Self-motivated and capable of fostering teamwork
