Mandate Overview:
The client is looking for a senior functional analyst for a delivery team attached to the group insurance data mart.

The role sits between business partners and development teams: it takes requirements already expressed and turns them into usable application and system specifications.

The business analyst and the integration solution architect are named as collaborators, which places requirements gathering upstream and solution design alongside, not at the core of this role. Participation in data modeling and the link to a data mart point to a data flavor, without any tool or technology required.

Defect management is described end to end, from identification to permanent fix, which goes beyond logging defects.

Target candidate:

A senior functional analyst who has written functional specifications for development teams and taken part in data modeling, ideally in a data warehouse or data mart context.

Requirements
Key Requirements:

Translating business, operational and functional requirements for development teams

Drafting application and system specifications with the integration solution architect and the business analyst

Functional documentation, solution documentation and assessment, identification of issues

Advising and supporting business partners, presenting concrete solutions

Identifying, isolating and tracking defects, from root cause to permanent fix
