We are seeking an outstanding individual to join CMHA Peel Dufferin as a Community Health Ambassador. This role involves engaging in culturally specific community outreach, presenting workshops, and promoting mental health within Mississauga. You'll facilitate access to essential resources and educate the public on mental health and addictions to foster a supportive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
• Organize mental health information sessions and distribute resources
• Dispel myths and address stigma through education
• Provide navigation support to access community resources




• Facilitate culturally specific support and recovery groups
• Consult with community agencies to enhance service access

Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree, Social Services preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience with vulnerable populations
• Communication skills for engaging presentations
• Understanding of social determinants impacting communities
• Valid driver’s license for in-community travel
