Come join our growing team at Oxford Machine & Welding Ltd.! We are currently seeking an experienced candidate to fill the role of Junior Estimator. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop essential skills in steel fabrication estimating and project management.
Duties Prepare accurate and competative eatimates within set deadlines
Review 2D drawings, 3D models and customer specifications with precision and attention to detail
Collaborate with shop and office personnel
Maintain organized project and estimating files
Greet and jelp walk-in customers
Provide administrative support to the estimating and sales workflow (data entry, filing, etc.)
Skills & Experience Strong organizational and time management skills
Telephone/email etiquette and customer service skills
Ability to visialize three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional drawings (blueprint reading)
Robust attention to detail while managing conflicting priorities
Personable with excelllent English verbal and written communication skills
Peoficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Previous estimating experience is considered an asset but is not required
