Become the essential 'eyes and ears' of the University of Alberta as an in-person Security Agent. Patrol campuses and ensure safety and security for all community members.

This role is vital for maintaining a secure environment across North Campus, South Campus, Campus Saint-Jean, and Augustana. As a Security Agent, you'll implement security policies, assist with access control, and respond to emergencies. The position provides an opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week during typical business hours, integrating further extended hours during special events or crises.

Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively patrol campuses ensuring safety and security
• Enforce security policies and regulations effectively
• Assist with access control to restricted areas




• Provide support and information to community members
• Maintain logs and reports of daily activities

Requirements:
• Valid Alberta security license or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication and calm under pressure
• Minimum high school education or equivalent
• Reliable and punctual with strong detail orientation
• Ability to work day shifts, including weekends
