We are looking for a Strategic Partnerships Specialist who is naturally relationship-driven, commercially minded, and excited about creating partnerships that generate meaningful value for both Orca Spirit Adventures and our partners.

The Strategic Partnerships Specialist will focus on building, strengthening, and growing relationships with hotels, concierges, tour operators, travel advisors, destination organizations, attractions, transportation providers, corporate and group clients, event planners, and other strategic partners.

The Opportunity

You will manage existing relationships while actively identifying new opportunities to expand Orca Spirit's reach, increase referrals and bookings, develop collaborative campaigns, and strengthen our presence within the local, national, and international tourism industry.

We're looking for someone who understands that the strongest partnerships aren't simply transactional—they're built through trust, responsiveness, creativity, and mutual benefit.

What You'll Do

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing tourism and hospitality partners.
- Identify and pursue new strategic partnership opportunities in Victoria, Vancouver Island, BC, Canada, and key international markets.
- Build relationships with hotels, concierges, tour operators, travel advisors, receptive operators, OTAs, attractions, transportation companies, destination organizations, event planners, corporate clients,



and other relevant organizations.
- Manage partner rates, agreements, commissions, promotions, and referral opportunities.
- Conduct regular partner visits, presentations, familiarization experiences, and product training.
- Represent Orca Spirit at tourism events, networking functions, trade events, conferences, and industry meetings.
- Coordinate FAM trips and opportunities for travel-industry professionals to experience Orca Spirit firsthand.
- Develop creative cross-promotions and collaborative marketing initiatives with strategic partners.
- Work with our marketing and guest experience teams to develop partner-specific campaigns and materials.
- Support group, corporate, private charter, and special-event opportunities generated through partnerships.
- Maintain accurate records of partner activity, opportunities, agreements, and follow-ups.
- Monitor partnership performance, referral activity, booking production, and return on investment.
- Identify emerging tourism trends and partnership opportunities.
- Serve as a knowledgeable and responsive point of contact for Orca Spirit's partners.
- Work closely with leadership to develop and execute the company's broader partnership strategy.
