Remote Structural Engineering Professional

Location: Remote (Must be based in Canada)

Compensation: $50.00/hr CAD

Position Type: Remote (Employee provides own adequate home internet)

Position Summary

- Seeking a motivated Structural Engineering Professional to join a team-oriented design team. In this role, you will assist with structural analysis and design, develop design concepts, and work closely with structural leads, engineers, and designers to communicate requirements on design documents and models.

Minimum Qualifications (Must Meet)

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering , with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Experience with US building codes , including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications





- Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience with Structural Engineering analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
- Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures.
- Experience in semi-conductor or general industrial facilities.

Core Responsibilities

- Perform conventional aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design under general supervision.
- Develop judgment in evaluating, selecting, and adapting engineering techniques and building code provisions (including wind and seismic lateral analysis).
- Maintain high-quality control by performing detailed calculation checks on your own work and the work of peers.
- Manage your own workload, take complete ownership of assigned scopes, and meet project schedule and budget requirements.
