Support a Transitional Certificate teacher at Mary Immaculate Catholic School in Chepstow as a Long Term Occasional Elementary Support Teacher. This 0.4 FTE role focuses on mentorship and coaching.

This exciting position starts on October 19, 2026, and runs through December 16, 2026, on Mondays and Wednesdays. Candidates must hold a valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate for teaching Elementary grades, and qualifications in Junior Division are essential for this role. Additional qualifications in Special Education and Religious Education are preferred and will be considered beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide daily coverage and support for a Transitional Certificated teacher
• Mentor and coach in classroom management and report card writing
• Engage in co-teaching and other beneficial supports




• Ensure students receive tailored educational experiences
• Assist in meeting educational requirements effectively

Requirements:
• Valid Certificate of Registration from Ontario College of Teachers
• Qualifications in Junior Division and teaching experience
• Special Education qualifications considered an asset
• Religious Education Certificate Part I or equivalency preferred
