Legacy Ironworks is a growing steel fabrication shop looking for an experienced Structural Steel Fitter to join our team. If you take pride in accurate work and want steady hours with a crew that values quality, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reading and interpreting blueprints and welding specifications
- Fitting metal components using processes such as gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
- Maintaining welding equipment and ensuring it is in valuable working condition
- Conducting pre- and post-welding inspections
- Ensuring the quality of welded parts meets the required standards
- Operating overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials




- Adhering to all safety regulations and safe welding practices
- Communicating with the fabrication and production departments to plan and coordinate welding projects

Qualifications:

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Knowledge of welding processes such as GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW
- Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 44.0 per week
