St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a full time Educational Assistant position at Sacred Heart School in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, beginning immediately. Sacred Heart School is seeking a caring, compassionate, and dedicated Educational Assistant to support students in Division 1 and Division 2 (Grade 1–Grade 6).The successful candidate will work collaboratively with classroom teachers, learning support staff, and administration to help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student is supported to know their strengths and develop their potential. Preferred candidates will have experience working with students with exceptional abilities and/or medical needs. Experience in a school setting would be considered an asset.
Employment is conditional upon the submission of a recent (within six months) Criminal Record Check, including the Vulnerable Sector Check, as well as a recent (within 6 months) Alberta Children’s Intervention Record Check. Please note: Catholicity is not a requirement it is considered an asset.
