DHL Express has a Casual Courier Driver opening in Brampton, Ontario . This is a casual position paid at $23.33/hour , with wages set to increase under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

The role combines parcel delivery and pickup with warehouse duties such as sorting, scanning, and processing freight. Shift availability must fall between 7am and 10pm , with no fixed schedule.

Responsibilities

Drive a van to complete assigned deliveries and pickups within tight time constraints

Lift and carry parcels up to 70 lbs per piece throughout the shift

Scan and process freight according to agreed procedures and Security Policies

Sort inbound material accurately by deadlines

Assist the Tracing Department with warehouse checks for missorts, on-hands and similar issues

Move freight within the warehouse area as required

Interact with customers in person and over the phone

Perform accurate reporting and complete other tasks assigned by the shift Supervisor

Participate in organizing and cleaning the warehouse area and maintaining a safe, co-operative work environment

Requirements

Valid Class 5 (G) driver's licence with a clean driving record (required)





High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Broad general working knowledge of warehouse functions (required)

Good knowledge of MS Office, comfortable Excel user (required)

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team setting (required)

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure (required)

Able to handle bulky, heavy, awkward shipments and stand for long periods of time (required)

Minimum one year warehouse or customer service experience (asset)

Understanding of First Choice Programs and Global SOP (asset)

Valid Class 5 (G) driver's licence with a clean driving record; high school diploma or equivalent; good knowledge of MS Office including Excel; broad general knowledge of warehouse functions; excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills; ability to work under pressure; able to handle heavy and awkward shipments and stand for long periods. Minimum one year warehouse or customer service experience is an asset. Understanding of First Choice Programs and Global SOP is an asset.
