As an integral part of the Food World Plus team, you will manage full-cycle inventory processes, conduct physical counts, and reconcile discrepancies. The position demands a solid understanding of retail sales accounting, general ledger maintenance, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks or similar software. You will collaborate closely with store management and vendors to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle inventory counting and reconciliation
• Conduct physical inventory counts and investigate variances




• Reconcile inventory between physical counts and accounting systems
• Track inventory adjustments, damages, and shortages
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end financials

Requirements:
• 2–5 years of accounting experience in retail or grocery
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and general ledger
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with Canadian GST/HST regulations
