About the Role Our client, a prestigious tennis academy in Kimberley , is seeking an experienced and dedicated High-Performance Tennis Coach to guide aspiring players towards achieving their full potential. This role involves developing and implementing sophisticated training programs focused on technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the game within the Leisure & Sports context. You will work closely with talented junior and professional athletes, providing expert coaching, performance analysis, and strategic guidance to elevate their game and competitive results. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver personalized tennis training plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each high-performance player.
Conduct on-court coaching sessions, focusing on stroke mechanics, strategy, footwork, and mental toughness.
Analyze player performance using video analysis and statistical data to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
Develop match-play strategies and provide in-match coaching during tournaments.
Collaborate with strength and conditioning coaches, sports psychologists,



and other support staff to ensure a holistic approach to athlete development.
Monitor player progress, maintain detailed training records, and communicate regularly with players and their families.
Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience coaching at a high-performance or professional level.
Recognized coaching certification (e.g., PTR, USPTA, or equivalent international certification).
Proven track record of developing players to national and international competitive standards.
Deep understanding of tennis strategy, technique, and modern training methodologies.
Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel with players to tournaments domestically and internationally.
