Summary & Responsibilities The Surveillance team is responsible for observing and documenting daily casino floor operations, overseeing all gaming activities, and monitoring hotel public areas to ensure strict adherence to AGLC Casino Terms, Conditions, and Operating Guidelines, internal policies, and house rules.

Key responsibilities include:

- Monitoring gaming activities across Table Games, Slots, and Poker.
- Conducting thorough internal and external investigations.
- Supervising various radio channels and monitoring facility alarm systems.
- Documenting incidents and operational activity accurately and promptly.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Gaming Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of recent experience as a Casino Investigator/Operator, Casino Security Guard in a gaming facility, or Casino Gaming/Dealer role. (Note: This is not a standard security guard monitoring role; hands-on gaming facility experience is required).
- Education: Post-secondary education in Criminology, Justice Studies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is an asset.
- Clearances & Certifications:
- Clear Calgary Police Service / RCMP Security Clearance (no criminal convictions or pending charges).
- Valid AGLC Certifications: AML, Deal Us In (Phase 1 & 2), ProTect, and ProServe.
- Valid Standard First Aid / CPR-C Certification.

Technical & Operational Skills:

- Strong working knowledge of Table Games, Slots, and Poker operations.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office and Windows-based systems.
- Familiarity with AGLC policies and procedures.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, high integrity and honesty, strong attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Shift & Transportation Requirements: This is a Floater role requiring flexibility to work a mix of Days, Afternoons, Evenings, and Overnights based on operational needs.Reliable personal transportation is required due to shift timings and limited public transit options in the area. Why Join Us?

Compensation & How to Apply

- Pay Rate: $20.50 – $23.00 per hour (commensurate with education and experience).
