The current stack includes Node.js, Next.js, React, TypeScript, Python, Express, REST APIs, MongoDB, Redis, Docker and GitHub Actions. No professional experience is required. We value solid fundamentals and evidence of learning through personal, college, open-source or freelance projects over a specific degree or previous job title.

This is a fully remote role. Applicants must be based in Canada.

What you will do

Build and maintain product features across frontend and backend services

Create accessible interfaces with Next.js and React

Develop and integrate Node.js, Python and REST API services

Write readable,



tested code and respond constructively to review

Investigate defects and improve product reliability

Document technical decisions and implementation details

Learn the production stack and take ownership of progressively larger changes

What we are looking for

Working knowledge of Node.js and Next.js

Working knowledge of Python

JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML and CSS fundamentals

Basic understanding of REST APIs, Git and databases

Problem-solving ability demonstrated through personal, college or open-source work

Clear written communication in a fully remote team

Nice to have

React and Tailwind CSS

Express or another Node.js server framework

MongoDB, PostgreSQL or Redis

Docker and Linux fundamentals

Automated testing or CI/CD experience

Image processing, OCR or applied AI projects
