About the Role Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Corporate Lawyer to join their legal team in Kimberley . This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career legal professional looking to build a strong foundation in corporate law and commercial transactions. You will assist senior lawyers in advising clients on a range of corporate matters, including company formations, commercial agreements, and regulatory compliance. This hybrid role allows for both in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, providing valuable exposure within the Northern Cape business community. You will be an integral part of a supportive team, developing your skills and contributing to the success of our client's operations.
Key Responsibilities Assist in the drafting and reviewing of corporate documents and commercial agreements.
Conduct legal research and provide summaries on corporate and commercial law topics.
Support senior lawyers in managing corporate governance requirements and compliance matters.
Help facilitate corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions,



and restructurings.
Liaise with clients and external stakeholders, maintaining skilled communication.
Manage and organize legal files and documentation.
Requirements Admitted Attorney or candidate attorney nearing admission with a strong focus on corporate or commercial law.
Solid understanding of South African company law and contract law principles.
Excellent research, analytical, and drafting skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and develop expertise.
Ability to work effectively within a hybrid work arrangement in our Kimberley office.
