Hello! My family is going to be away from December 26, 2026 to January 4th 2027.

We're looking for someone to board and care for our Amazonian parrot in their home during that time.

Responsibilities would be waking him, tucking him in at night, feeding him, and socializing with him when you are home.

He loves being around people, chatting, and music.

He is used to being outside of his cage when people are around.

We have a stand with a perch and also a stand that mounts to a wall.

He is stick trained (steps up on a stick for transport) and never learned to fly.

Would love to find someone with experience with parrots or a willingness to learn and communicate about his needs.

Would prefer if he were not around cats or large dogs.

Please message me if you are interested in visiting and caring for him over the Christmas holidays. $40.00 per day, negotiable.
