Our Canadian based client is seeking an experienced SAP Finance (FI) Solution Architect to join their project on a long term contract.

The ideal candidate should have 12+ years of SAP Finance experience, with extensive hands-on SAP configuration experience, multiple full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementations, and proven experience acting as a Finance Solution Architect or Design Authority should also have robust knowledge of the S/4HANA Finance data model and the Universal Journal, along with experience in Group Reporting and/or SAC Planning, product costing and margin analysis, and Asset Accounting and capital project accounting with a strong understanding of Finance integration points including revenue recognition, inter-company transactions, inventory valuation, fixed assets, and period close, as is experience with IFRS and North American statutory requirements.

This is primarily a remote work setting, with approximately 30–50% travel expected.

Key Responsibilities:



Act as the SAP Finance design authority across client engagements.

Lead Finance solution design and fit-to-standard discussions.

Review and approve functional designs and architecture decisions.

Support SAP presales, solutioning and effort estimation.

Provide quality assurance across Finance workstreams.

Support complex integration decisions involving Finance and other SAP modules.

Review testing strategies and support issue resolution.

Provide guidance on data migration and cutover activities.

Support project teams during hypercare and post-go-live activities.

Develop reusable Finance accelerators and best practices.

Mentor SAP Finance consultants.

Track SAP Finance roadmap developments and emerging capabilities. CPA, CMA or equivalent designation is considered an asset.

Bilingual English/French preferred.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
