Position Overview Reporting to the Charge Technologist or the Diagnostic Support Supervisor, the Diagnostic Clerk is responsible for performing functions pertaining to the Diagnostic Services Department by ensuring timeliness, accuracy and quality services to clients.

Experience Hospital/medical clinic experience with work involving direct public contact and experience with diagnostic service information, i.e. ward clerk, health records clerk, or medical clinic reception/clerk preferred.

Recent experience with office equipment including computers, fax machines, and copiers.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Grade 12 education or equivalent.

Completion of post-secondary education in office administration through a business school or college an asset.

Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications and Skills Excellent knowledge of Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet.

Knowledge of Medical Terminology.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and frequent interruptions.
