Effective oral and written communication skills Experience assisting students with complex needs, not limited to personal hygiene, toileting etc.



would be considered an asset Experience assisting students with medical needs including diabetes would be considered an asset Calm and patient approach to working with students and solving problems Experience with complex behaviors would be considered an asset Cooperative team player with the ability to take initiative and support a dynamic learning environment Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality Knowledge, understanding and experience with ASD, ADHD and social, emotional and behavioral needs would be considered an asset Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented collaborative learning environment Flexibility to work in a variety of programs
