Chemco is seeking experienced Labourers for civil work in Sparwood, British Columbia. We are looking for dependable, safety-focused individuals who are comfortable performing physical work in active construction environments.
What We’re Looking Site preparation and cleanup
Material handling and moving supplies
Supporting trades and equipment operators as required
Labourers Labourers will perform general site duties and support crews to help keep work progressing safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Do Perform general labour duties, including site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
Assist tradespeople, equipment operators, and other crew members as directed
Load, unload, move, and organize tools, materials, and supplies
Use hand and power tools safely and properly
Maintain awareness of ground conditions, equipment, nearby workers, and other site hazards
Follow direction from site supervision and complete assigned tasks efficiently
Follow all Chemco, client, and site-specific safety procedures
Support a productive and respectful work environment
What You Bring Previous labour experience in a civil construction, mining, or industrial environment is preferred
Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather and site conditions




Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a field team
Robust communication and situational-awareness skills
Valid driver’s licence
Ability to work the project schedule, including extended hours, weekends, or overtime when required
Required safety certifications and site-access qualifications must be current before starting work
Employment Requirements Successful completion of project and site-access requirements
Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing where permitted and required for the safety-sensitive position
Ability to safely perform the essential duties of the position, with reasonable accommodation where required
Employment Details Location: Sparwood, British Columbia
Position: Project-based field roles
Compensation: $28.00–$34.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
LOA: Subsistence provided
