About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Farm Supervisor with a strong background in livestock management to oversee operations near Kimberley. This hands-on role involves supervising daily activities, ensuring the health and welfare of livestock, and managing a team of farmhands. You will play a key role in maintaining optimal herd performance, implementing best practices in animal husbandry, and contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the farm. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with practical experience in livestock operations and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities Supervise daily farm activities related to livestock care, including feeding, watering, and sanitation.
Monitor animal health, identify signs of illness or distress, and coordinate with veterinarians for treatment.
Oversee breeding programs, ensure successful insemination, and monitor pregnancies.
Manage farmhands, assign tasks, provide training, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain records of livestock, including births, deaths, vaccinations,



and treatments.
Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of farm equipment and facilities used for livestock.
Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in livestock farm operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proven experience with cattle or sheep farming , including handling, feeding, and breeding.
Good understanding of animal health, nutrition and welfare standards.
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Basic knowledge of farm machinery and maintenance.
Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
