Lifemark Seniors Wellness seeks a Casual Part-Time Physiotherapy Assistant in Chatham, Ontario to support physiotherapists in residential care. This role includes treatment assistance, exercise classes, and maintaining a secure environment.

As a Casual Part-Time Physiotherapy Assistant, you'll be part of a team offering essential rehabilitation services. You'll assist with patient treatments such as gait and balance exercises, while delivering engaging exercise classes. Your role will also involve communication with physiotherapists about patient progress and ensuring cleanliness in treatment areas.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist physiotherapist with treatment plans for residents
• Perform prescribed exercises and modalities, including TENS and ultrasound




• Deliver safe exercise classes for groups of residents
• Set up equipment and maintain clarity in treatment areas
• Document daily treatments in Lifemark's web-based system

Requirements:
• PTA/OTA diploma or degree in Kinesiology
• Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred
• Valid Vulnerable Sector screening check
• Tuberculin clearance required
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
