Our financial services client is seeking a Manager, Collateral & Liquidity Operations (8–10+ years) to lead a team of 8 professionals supporting collateral management and capital markets operations Join a highly visible collateral and liquidity operations function supporting enterprise margin activity across bilateral and cleared products.

This role provides leadership and operational oversight across daily collateral activities, with a focus on risk management, quality control, team development, and continuous improvement.

The Manager will oversee a team of junior professionals and work closely with Treasury, Risk, Legal, Investments, Finance, and external counterparties to ensure critical daily processes are completed accurately and effectively. 6-month Contract, Toronto, Working Hours: EST 4 days a week on site Must Haves 8–10+ years of experience in Capital Markets / Investment Operations , including collateral management, trade operations, reconciliations, cash management, or asset servicing 5+ years of people leadership / management experience within a capital markets operations workplace Strong understanding of operational risk, controls, governance, and escalation management within capital markets Proven experience managing and developing teams, including coaching, cross-training, performance management, and quality oversight Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience working across business, operations, risk,



and senior leadership teams Nice to Have Direct collateral management / margin management experience within a buy-side or institutional investment environment Knowledge of ISDA CSA/GMRA agreements , cleared margin activities, SIMM, Sponsored Repo, and collateral management services Experience with collateral platforms such as Acadia, Tri

Optima, or Triparty custodians Experience leading process improvement, transformation, or operational efficiency initiatives Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience CPA (CA, CGA, CMA) or CFA designation Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of approximately 8 junior professionals responsible for daily collateral and margin management activities Oversee critical daily processes, reviews, and approvals to ensure operational accuracy, quality control, and timely execution Provide operational leadership, governance, and risk oversight across collateral management activities Identify and escalate operational, counterparty, liquidity, and control issues and provide recommendations to senior leadership Strengthen team capabilities through coaching, cross-training, performance development, and succession planning Partner with Treasury, Risk, Legal, Investments, Finance, and external counterparties to resolve operational issues Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, efficiency, and operational resiliency Support strategic initiatives, change management, and broader transformation activities across the collateral function
