Job Description The Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a Locum Anesthesiologist to provide services in Swift Current until June 30, 2028, or until the current vacancies are filled, whichever occurs first.

The successful candidate will join our team to provide comprehensive anesthesiology services to the patients of southwest Saskatchewan at the .

The scope of practice includes inpatient and outpatient care, emergency consults and specialist on-call coverage.

We provide full obstetrical services, as well as general surgery, gynecology, urology and ophthalmology.

Elective OR runs from 07:45 to 16:00 hours.

Equitable on call requirement in accordance with the Specialist Emergency Coverage Program.

Please note, we are currently advertising for 1.75 anesthesiology positions.

Job Qualifications The successful candidate will be a Fellow (or be eligible for Fellowship)



with the in anesthesia.

Candidates should be eligible for licensure with the .

Preference will be given to University of Saskatchewan graduates and individuals with solid ties to Saskatchewan.

This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family-centered care.

In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.
