Our banking client is seeking a Senior AI Architect (10+ years of experience) to design enterprise GenAI and AI platform architectures using Azure OpenAI, RAG, and agentic AI solutions Join a large-scale Infrastructure and Engineering initiative focused on enterprise AI architecture within a banking setting.

This role designs end-to-end AI solution architectures across AI/LLM gateways, RAG, model access patterns, AI observability, and governed enterprise integrations in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

The position supports high-visibility architecture initiatives while partnering closely with platform technology teams and enterprise stakeholders.

This opportunity offers a long-term contract supporting complex enterprise transformation work.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, - 2 days onsite currently but could change Front 2 years Must Haves 10+ years delivering Solution Architecture across enterprise technology environments Hands-on architecture delivery of GenAI , LLM , and agentic AI solutions including AI/LLM gateways, RAG, vector search, and prompt orchestration Architecture expertise across Azure OpenAI , Azure AI Foundry , Google Vertex AI/Gemini, hybrid cloud, model routing, and AI observability Design experience for Identity and Access Control , Data Protection , token governance,



prompt safety, auditability, and operational readiness Undergraduate degree required Nice to Have Experience within a regulated environment including banking Graduate degree Exposure to Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Pair Programming, or Test-Driven Development AI, cloud, security, data, Kubernetes, MLOps, API management, or enterprise architecture certifications Responsibilities Design end-to-end AI solution architectures across AI/LLM gateways, RAG, model access patterns, and enterprise integrations Create architecture blueprints and high- and low-level design specifications for AI platforms and infrastructure solutions Develop architecture frameworks and reusable solution patterns for production-ready AI capabilities Lead architecture backlog prioritization and advise on business and technology trade-offs Define AI governance patterns for authentication, authorization, prompt safety, audit logging, model routing, and operational monitoring Collaborate with cloud, cyber security, data governance, privacy, compliance, and platform teams on enterprise AI initiatives Drive Kubernetes-based AI workload architecture and container optimization initiatives
