About Boboto Care
Boboto Care is a growing Ontario-based perinatal care collective supporting families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery and the early months of parenthood.

Our team includes nurses, doulas, lactation professionals, newborn care specialists, social workers and other maternal-child health professionals who genuinely enjoy working together.

As our inquiries and client needs continue to grow, we are looking for a Registered Massage Therapist with an interest or experience in prenatal and postpartum care to join our collective.

This is a mobile role. You must be comfortable travelling to clients’ homes throughout your preferred service area in Toronto and the GTA.

About the Role
As a Mobile Registered Massage Therapist with Boboto Care, you will provide massage therapy to pregnant and postpartum clients in the comfort of their homes.

Appointments may include:

Prenatal massage therapy





Postpartum massage therapy

Massage supporting postpartum recovery and physical well-being

Relaxation and stress-reduction treatments

Education within your professional scope

Appropriate referrals when a client’s needs fall outside your scope

Communication and collaboration with other members of the Boboto Care team when appropriate

This role is focused specifically on supporting clients during pregnancy and postpartum.

You May Be a Great Fit If You Are

A Registered Massage Therapist in good standing in Ontario

Warm, professional and client-centred

Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes

Interested in pregnancy, postpartum and maternal health

Confident adapting treatments to the needs of pregnant and postpartum clients

Respectful of different cultures, family structures and parenting experiences

LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to inclusive care

Reliable, punctual and responsive

Excellent at creating a calm and comfortable client experience

Comfortable travelling throughout your selected GTA service area

Experience with prenatal and postpartum massage is strongly preferred.

Requirements
Applicants must have:

Current registration as a Registered Massage Therapist in Ontario

Registration in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario

Professional liability insurance

Current Vulnerable Sector Check or appropriate background screening

Solid professional references

Legal authorization to work in Canada





Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes

Appropriate portable massage equipment for mobile appointments

Additional prenatal, postpartum, pelvic health or maternal wellness training is considered an asset.

Helping Families Access Their Benefits
Many of our families have extended health benefits that include Registered Massage Therapy.

You should be comfortable providing the documentation and receipts required for eligible clients to submit claims through their private insurance or workplace benefit plans.

Coverage is determined by each client’s individual insurance provider and plan.

Flexible Work That Fits Your Practice
This is an independent contractor opportunity .

It may be an excellent fit for an RMT who already works in a clinic or private practice and would like to add mobile prenatal and postpartum appointments to their schedule. Some practitioners may choose a few appointments per month, others may want to build a larger recurring caseload. We work with your availability and preferred service area whenever possible.
