Our energy & resources client is seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to manage IT sourcing initiatives using RFx and technology procurement for our utilities client Contract, Calgary, Working Hours: MST Must Haves 5+ years of IT procurement and sourcing experience Independent delivery of competitive sourcing events from initiation through award Commercial negotiation and supplier management capabilities Work with IT , Cybersecurity , and Finance stakeholders on sourcing initiatives Strong understanding of SaaS , licensing, professional services, and technology contracting commercial models Nice to Have IT software and telecommunications procurement exposure Ability to onboard quickly with minimal ramp-up Concurrent management of multiple sourcing initiatives in a rapid-paced environment Responsibilities Develop sourcing strategies for IT procurement initiatives Prepare and execute RFx events Conduct commercial evaluations Support commercial negotiations with suppliers Coordinate stakeholder and supplier engagement activities Support contract development and execution Manage sourcing initiatives from intake through award
