Toronto

This is a hybrid in office role, employees will be expected to work out of our Toronto office Tuesday-Thursday each week, remote Monday, and Friday.

Who We Are Wayfair's Global Supplier Technology (GST) organization builds the tools and systems that power how thousands of suppliers work with Wayfair, from onboarding and catalog management to supplier advertising.

Our mission is simple: give suppliers the tools they need to list, manage, and grow their business on Wayfair with as little friction as possible.

What You’ll Do As the Senior Lead Product Designer within GST, you’ll lead design for some of our related internal products that support Wayfair’s B2B work.

You’ll dig into complex workflows, learn from users and data, and turn ambiguous problems into clear product direction and useful experiences.

We’re looking for a designer who can think deeply, work hands-on, and move quickly from discovery to delivery.

Own both design strategy and hands-on execution, from identifying problems through delivery and iterations.

Partner with product and engineering leaders to identify opportunities, set priorities, and make tradeoffs using user research, product data, and business context.

Go deep into complex workflows: interview users, understand how work gets done today, and uncover needs that may not appear in a brief.

Set a clear design direction across connected GST experiences while working through the interaction and visual details that make the product effective.

Develop and test concepts quickly.

Make sound decisions when information is incomplete,

and recognize when a problem needs further investigation.

Communicate a clear point of view to senior leaders and cross-functional teams, build alignment, and carry decisions through delivery.

Establish reusable patterns that improve consistency and quality across related products.

Raise the quality of the team’s work through critique, mentorship, and strong examples of product design practice.

What you’ll need 8+ years of product design experience. A bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience designing mobile products, internal business tools, or complex operational workflows.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sense of research, data, and competing needs.

Experience using AI to accelerate design work and shaping product experiences that use AI responsibly.

Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills. A strong grasp of design processes and the practical constraints of building digital products.

Experience creating user flows, journeys, wireframes, annotations, and prototypes.

Proficiency with Figma and AI-assisted tools such as Cursor and Claude,

or equivalent tools.

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Java

Script sufficient to collaborate effectively with engineers.

The ability to see connections across workflows and design solutions that can scale.

Experience presenting and defending design decisions to senior and executive leaders. A portfolio or case studies of shipped work that show user advocacy, analytical thinking, and strong design judgment in complex environments.

Nice to have: Experience designing for suppliers, marketplaces, e-commerce, or enterprise products.

Strong user research skills.

Leadership experience.

Mandarin or other additional language skills.

No matter who you are, Wayfair is a place you can call home.

We value and rely on the collective voices of our employees, customers, community, and suppliers to help guide us as we build a better Wayfair – and world – for all.
