QA Tester – T24 / Core Banking Contract: 6 months initially, with potential extension Location: Canada / Onshore Interview Process: One round About the Role We are seeking a QA Tester with solid core banking and financial services experience to support a high-profile core banking transformation and migration initiative.

The current need is for a QA professional who understands core banking systems and business functionality , with Temenos T24 experience strongly preferred .

This individual will work closely with project, technology, data and business teams to validate functionality, data and integrations throughout critical pre-go-live and go-live activities.

Key Responsibilities Execute functional and system testing across core banking applications and processes.

Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases and test scripts.

Validate core banking functionality across areas such as: Deposits Loans Mortgages Accounts and customer information Banking transactions Perform testing within Temenos T24 / core banking environments .

Validate data movement and data integrity between core banking systems and downstream applications.

Perform SQL-based data validation and reconciliation.

Investigate defects, identify root causes and work with technology teams through resolution.





Support integration, regression, system and pre-go-live testing.

Participate in defect triage and provide clear status reporting.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, data teams and other QA resources.

Support knowledge transfer and documentation as required.

Required Qualifications Strong QA/testing experience within the financial services or banking industry .

Hands-on experience with Temenos T24 is strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of core banking functionality and processes.

Experience testing banking products such as loans, deposits, mortgages and related transactions.

Strong SQL skills and ability to perform data validation/reconciliation.

Experience with functional, integration, regression and system testing.

Strong defect management and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-visibility transformation environment.

Nice to Have Experience with other core banking platforms.

Experience supporting a core banking migration or transformation.

Experience with data migration testing.

Exposure to ETL/data warehouse testing.

Experience supporting pre-go-live and production-readiness activities.
