Levert is seeking a highly skilled and safety-minded Environmental Specialist to join our team with Canada’s Largest Gold Mine.

The ideal candidate will manage environmental compliance across our sub-watersheds, spearhead spill incident investigations, guide less experienced team members, and ensure site operations strictly adhere to environmental permits and regulations.

This is a camp rotational position.

Payrate: $40 per hour. 14 days on/14 days off rotations, 12 hour shifts We will offer you: Competitive hourly wage Weekly pay (some exceptions) Dental and Vision Benefits Prescription Perks Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program Encourage personal development training Opportunity to train and work with industry leading companies Advancement opportunities Safety recognition program We are seeking candidates that have the following knowledge and experience; Sampling and Sampling Support •Analyze water chemistry, communicate with external labs, making sure sample samples are analyzed on time, any additional sample supplies are being shipped on time and troubleshoot any QA/QC issues that arise.



•Compare environmental data against permit criteria advising of any issues and present regular reports to the Environmental Department. •Air Quality Monitoring – Assist in sample collection, as required. •Noise Monitoring – Communicate with consultants regarding noise monitoring •Stream Gauging and groundwater monitoring– Assist in data collection as required. •Compliance Sampling - Assist environmental compliance sampling, as required. •Prioritize field work regularly to stay updated with site and sampling protocols.
