THE ROLE We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join a well-established organization in Peterborough, Ontario .

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily plant operations, production, logistics, and maintenance while leading a team and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing or plant management background, a hands-on leadership style, and the ability to work directly with employees on the floor while also managing operational performance and administrative responsibilities. and production targets Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational Complete and review daily production, inspection, audit, and equipment reports Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions and process improvements Promote and maintain a strong safety culture Ensure employees are properly trained and equipped with required PPE Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies Maintain a clean, safe, and organized plant environment Support staffing, scheduling, training, and employee development REQUIREMENTS 3–5 years of experience managing a manufacturing or plant setting Strong plant-based/manufacturing background Previous experience supervising and managing Strong understanding of plant operations, production, KPIs, and maintenance Proven ability to drive results and meet operational targets Strong people-management and communication skills Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work directly with employees on the floor Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Experience creating and maintaining a strong safety culture Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel Experience with CMMS or maintenance management software is an asset Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work fully onsite in Peterborough #INDSTRIVEON #LI-SR
