Required Qualifications: Non-restricted registration in valuable standing with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACOP) as a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP).

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) CPR certification.

Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence (or equivalent), along with a five (5)-year driver abstract dated within six (6) months prior to commencing work, with no more than six (6) demerits.

Proof of successful completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation ( test, verified by a certificate from Lifemark, is required for all applicants who do not currently hold a clinical position (including VESST, Clinical Educator, EMR, PCP, ACP, and Community Paramedic roles).

The test must be completed within six (6)



months of the application date.

Verification of results may be conducted through Lifemark.

Additional Required Qualifications: Applicants must provide proof of program completion for any post-secondary education or training at the time of application for it to be considered during the selection process.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference is given to those with previous EMS experience in a metro, suburban, rural, or interfacility environment and in other areas of Health Care and Public Safety.

Completion of additional post-secondary programs is considered an asset.
