Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, counselling or other university degree relevant to the practice of counselling and psychotherapy from a recognized institution Member in good standing of a Skilled College ( OCSWSSW or CRPO ) or in process of registration A minimum of three years of relevant experience Experience and practice in counselling and/or psychotherapy In-depth understanding of mental health issues In-depth knowledge of psychosocial assessment and counseling techniques Ability to handle crises effectively Knowledgeable on the mental health community resources available Commitment to working co-operatively with clients and members of the interdisciplinary team Openness to the customs and habits of other cultures Excellent organization and interpersonal skills Knowledge and ability to use basic computer software Excellent knowledge of oral and written French and English Be willing to work flexible hours to meet the needs of clients Have access to a motor vehicle and hold a valid Ontario driver's license
