Join the Community Services team as a Labourer focused on Trails & Cemetery operations in the City of Kawartha Lakes. This full-time role requires reliable grounds maintenance skills and wide-ranging working hours.

This position is responsible for essential upkeep at cemeteries and trails. You’ll perform inspections, snow control, and maintenance while engaging with families during interment services. Demonstrated experience in horticulture or landscape construction is essential to support the beautification of community outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect properties for vandalism and perform garbage collection
• Operate equipment for grounds maintenance tasks
• Conduct winter snow and ice control tasks
• Maintain cemetery properties, including grass cutting and planting
• Support families by liaising for interment services

Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma required
• Experience in grounds maintenance and horticulture
• Knowledge of OHSA and WHMIS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s Licence

Contribute to the maintenance and beauty of communal spaces while collaborating with the Community Services team.
