AGI is currently looking for a full-time Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic. This person will be responsible for the general maintenance of shop equipment including forklifts, cranes, mobile cranes, production machinery, welders, cutting and shearing equipment, etc.
DUTIES: Performing scheduled preventative maintenance, breakdown & repairs as required and making recommendations as to the extent of the repairs required and suggestions for improvements.
Diagnosing & troubleshooting machine, hydraulic and pneumatics equipment issues in a timely and safe manner.
Installing and relocating equipment
Coordinating and working with various departments including welding, warehouse, blasting and production teams to ensure equipment is running appropriately.
Providing periodic support to building maintenance needs. (ie: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
EXPERINCE & QUALIFICATIONS:



Preference of 3-5 years experience in similar positions & work environments
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems independently
General preventative maintenance to ensure minimal downtime
Able to read schematic drawings to repair equipment
Past experience working independently with minimal supervision
Knowledge to work safely
Strong command of the English language (read, write, speak)
Ability to work on higher elevations (ladders & lifts)
REQUIREMENTS: must have valid Drivers License with a clean abstract
must be willing to relocate
must speak and read English fluently
