Responsibilities: Travelling to various locations in NB and NS welding structural steel, rebar and other metals Use, hand grinders and cutting torches When not welding, will assist the crew with any and all tasks including grouting, installation and other general labour work Working at heights is mandatory Aerial platform training Read blueprints Ability to work with little supervision Requirements: Stick Welding - all positions (Flat, Horizontal, Vertical, Overhead) Ability to work away from home Monday – Friday Experience welding galvanized steel Must be comfortable completing labour tasks and working long hours Ability to read blueprints or drawings Travel Note: The successful candidate for this position will not be working under a Red Seal welder.
