Position Overview Our client is seeking a QE/Automation Engineer to support Payments initiatives, with particular emphasis on Interac and Real-Time Rails .

This is an intermediate-level technical QE role supporting the broader Payments testing and automation team.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop and execute automated tests for Payments applications.

Develop and maintain UI and API automation.

Support testing across Interac and Real-Time Rails initiatives.

Collaborate with QE leads, developers and product teams.

Identify, document and troubleshoot defects.

Contribute to test strategy and automation improvements.

Maintain automated test suites and supporting documentation.

Support regression, integration and functional testing.

Contribute to continuous improvement of QE practices.

Support accessibility testing where required.

Required Qualifications Robust Quality Engineering / Test Automation experience.





Experience automating applications within the Payments domain .

Experience working on Interac and/or Real-Time Rails projects.

Strong programming and automation skills.

Experience with Java/Selenium, Playwright or comparable frameworks.

Understanding of API testing.

Ability to work effectively within a collaborative QE/engineering team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications Accessibility testing experience.

Experience with Rest Assured.

Experience across multiple automation frameworks.

Banking/financial services experience.

Experience with CI/CD and modern software engineering practices.

Exposure to performance or non-functional testing.

Contract Expected start: immediate/as soon as an appropriate candidate is identified .

Expected duration: 12 months One round interview
