In this vital role, you will assist in the rehabilitation of Indigenous individuals through culturally secure practices. This position requires strong communication skills and collaboration with various stakeholders as you prepare community assessments and release plans. Your experience and knowledge of Indigenous culture will be key in guiding residents toward successful reintegration.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support residents in setting and achieving realistic goals
• Conduct community assessments for release planning
• Prepare assessments and reports in collaboration with stakeholders




• Facilitate regular discussions with staff involved in resident care
• Ensure adherence to Section 81 legislation during evaluations

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, Indigenous studies, or criminology
• In-depth knowledge of Indigenous cultures and healing practices
• Strong communication skills to liaise with community organizations
• Valid Alberta driver’s license with reliable vehicle
• Up-to-date criminal record and child intervention checks
